Lauren was born in Trenton, New Jersey and raised in Memphis, Tennessee.  Lauren currently works as a paramedic and firefighter for the Memphis Fire Department.

Dreams Will Come, Dreams Will Go is Lauren’s first illustrated picture book. She credits her grandmother Kim for her artistic ability.
